Biologicals

Single dose protection against 7-way blackleg and pinkeye in cattle 2 months of age or older. For prevention of Clostridium chauvoei, septicum, novyi, sordellii, perfringens Types C & D and Moraxella bovis .

Dosage: Give 2 ml SQ prior to the onset of pinkeye season. Calves vaccinated prior to 3 months of age should be revaccinated at weaning or 4-6 months of age. May cause injection site swelling. Annual booster is recommended.

For use as an aid in prevention and treatment of enteric and respiratory conditions in cattle and sheep when caused by corynebacterium pyogenes, E. Coli, pasteurella, haemolyticamultocida, and salmonella typhimurium.

Dosage: Inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly and repeat according to judgment of user. Administer at 12-24 hour intervals until improvement is noted. Use multiple sites or IV for large doses. It is recommended to limit injections to no more than 10ml per injection site. U.S. Lic. No. 188.

Modified-live virus for vaccination of healthy cattle prior to breeding as an aid in preventing abortion caused by IBR, persistently infected calves caused by BVD Types 1 & 2, disease caused by IBR, BVD Types 1 & 2, PI₃ and BRSV, and BVD Type 2 testicular infection.

Dosage: 2 ml IM to all breeding cows and heifers about 1 mo prior to breeding or being added to herd. Revaccinate with Bovi-Shield BRSV in 3-4 wks. Revaccinate annually. Do not use Bovi Shield GOLD FP 5 in pregnant cows or calves nursing pregnant cows, unless they were previously vaccinated as described above. 21 day slaughter withdrawal. U.S. Lic. No. 189.

Used for the immunization of healthy newborn calves and pregnant cows in controlling diarrhea caused by Bovine Rotavirus and Coronavirus.

Dosage: For active immunization, rehydrate and administer Calf Guard orally, 3 ml to newborn calves. For passive protection of calves, vaccinate cows in last quarter of pregnancy with two 3 ml Intarmuscular vaccinations 3-6 weeks apart. 21 day slaughter withdrawal. U.S. Lic. No. 189.

Reccomended as an aid in the prevention of edema disease caused by F18 E.Coli in swine 18 days or older.
